The project aimed to identify optimal measures to prevent natural and technological risks in protected areas of the Danube River cross-border sector.  Thus, within the project specific studies have been developed on the implementation of shore-side defense in the Divici-Pojejena wetland, located in Caraş Severin County, on the border with the Republic of Serbia, with the aim of selecting the most appropriate technical solutions  in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and determining their impact on the environment.
